Based in north London, PWD undertakes a wide range of residential work in the UK and abroad. This includes complete house renovations, including full project management, as well as smaller projects, such as kitchen and bathroom design.

PWD aims to offer excellent value for money and has a transparent fee structure. This is either a percentage of the total value of a project or it charges at an hourly rate for consultancy.

Company founder and chief designer Paul Warren says that while he is passionate about modern design, he knows that clients need function as much as form: "As an interior designer, you are not creating set pieces of modern art for your clients. Rather they need to be able to live easily in the environment you design, and to take pleasure from its ergonomics and practicality as well as its beauty."
